Ben was born in Israel, on Kibbutz Tuval near Haifa, but spent most of his life living in Brighton, Sussex. He was a member of the Reform synagogue for a long time where he was the Shofar blower for 15 years. He studied at the University of Glasgow and graduated in 2011 with a degree in Zoology. He spent a year living in Israel working at the Jerusalem Zoo working with Lions, Tigers and Bears (oh my!) and many more carnivores. He met his wife, moved to America and got married living in the states for 18 months before they came back to the UK where they have now settled in North London with their little dog, Bella. Having worked for a year at Redbridge JCC as their Senior Youth Worker, he has come to WS to utilise his organisational skills as the PA to the Rabbi and Services Co-ordinator. He is very much looking forward to helping our vibrant community with all its lifecycle events!
