For Jews around the world, joining with Israelis celebrating Yom Ha'Atzmaut (Israel’s Independence Day) has become a concrete link in our connection to the land of Israel. This year it falls on Monday 13th May, and so we invite members and friends to join us on Friday 10th May as we come together to mark this day with a special Israeli themed Shabbat Dinner.

This year in particular we note the importance of coming together as a community as we pray for peace and the release of the hostages, particularly of Elkana Bochbot who our community has ‘adopted’ as part of the Board of Deputies initiative. 

We hope you can join us at 6:30pm on Friday, 10th May, for this special dinner where we'll hear from Rabbi Thomas on his recent visit to Israel and enjoy music with Tally Koren. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to be in touch.
